Unlike most EV charging contractors, we keep estimating, electrical and civil crews in-house. Our estimators, project managers, electricians, and technical specialists coordinate your scope, schedule, and requirements as one team. That setup can reduce handoffs between trades and keep one point of contact on your project.

Site assessments, scope design, budgeting, procurement, and scheduling—with a project manager coordinating communication throughout the work.
Electrical installation for charging and lighting systems, supported by in-house excavation, trenching, concrete, and asphalt restoration when the project requires it.
Testing and setup for the installed system, including lighting controls or EV charging connectivity, billing, and access features. We review operation and available support with your team before handoff.

Resound Energy is a fully licensed and insured contractor. We hold Washington general contractor and electrical contractor licenses, and we’re also licensed to work in Oregon, Colorado and Minnesota. EVITP-certified electricians install our EV charging equipment, including hardware from manufacturer partners such as Tesla, Autel and ChargePoint.
Resound Energy installs Level 2 (240-volt) and DC fast (direct current) charging systems designed around your property’s parking, electrical capacity, and operating needs. We help determine where chargers should go, how much power they need, and how drivers will access and pay for charging.
Your proposal includes the equipment and supporting infrastructure, with options for future expansion where appropriate. Our services include new installations, expansion of existing systems, and replacement of outdated or unreliable chargers.
As an experienced EV charger installation contractor, we review power capacity early so your budget reflects real site needs. Level 2 installs typically run $4,500 to $12,000 per port, depending on site conditions.
Charging can also help you attract and keep tenants who drive electric vehicles. Every port you add supports your property’s sustainability goals by making electric driving easier for the people who park there.
$4,500–$12,000Typical Level 2 install cost per port, depending on site conditions
$50,000–$220,000Average cost per DCFC port, depending on kW output and site conditions
Resound helps property owners reduce lighting energy use and maintenance demands while improving illumination throughout their facilities. We assess existing fixtures, operating hours, and the needs of each space.
Your proposal outlines recommended equipment, installation costs, estimated savings, and potential rebates. That level of detail is what you should expect from commercial LED lighting contractors before any fixture comes down.
We serve warehouses, manufacturing facilities, offices, multifamily communities, and retail properties.
LED lighting is more than 40% more efficient than CFL or HID sources
As an LED commercial lighting contractor, we select interior and exterior lighting for each space, activity, and set of operating conditions. LED lighting is more than 40% more efficient than traditional CFL or HID light sources, which may lower your energy costs.
We install lighting controls such as occupancy sensors, scheduling, and daylight controls to manage unnecessary lighting use.
Our lighting maintenance team handles fixture troubleshooting, repairs, and applicable warranty coordination. This support helps your site continue to perform after installation.
Resound finds, applies for and closes out utility rebates for EV charging and LED projects. Those incentives can shape your project’s scope and budget. To date, rebates and federal grants have saved clients $58 million. We work with Seattle City Light, Puget Sound Energy (PSE), Xcel Energy, Portland General Electric and other utility programs throughout our service territories.
During planning, we review utility rebates and grant opportunities that may apply to your site. Those program requirements then help guide equipment selection and installation timing. We also coordinate the applications and closeout documents. Each bid lists the full project cost and expected incentives separately, so you can evaluate the investment.

FAQ
Quick answers about commercial EV charging, LED lighting retrofits and rebates.
Every commercial EV charging installation starts with a site assessment and a load and panel review. We pull permits, trench for power, install the chargers, and set up the network. Finally, we file your rebate paperwork for available incentives.
Level 2 chargers typically cost $4,500 to $20,000 per port installed. DC fast chargers run $75,000 to $220,000 per port. Your price depends on charger type, electrical capacity, distance to power, and trenching. Rebates and grants can lower this total.
Yes, programs from Seattle City Light, Puget Sound Energy (PSE), and Xcel Energy offer incentives for eligible projects. Resound has helped customers secure $42 million so far. We review eligibility during planning and handle the applications for you. Learn more on our rebates page.
A commercial EV charger typically lasts 8 to 10 years with regular maintenance, and Resound backs every installation with a 1-year warranty. Lifespan depends on usage volume, site conditions, and hardware quality. We handle inspections, firmware updates, network checks, and warranty repairs to keep your chargers running longer.
Resound handles every step from the first audit to handoff. We review your lights and operating hours, select fixtures, file rebates, install the lighting, and set up controls. We also add maintenance and warranty support afterward.
LED lighting is over 40% more efficient than CFL or HID sources, which can lower your energy bills. On average, our lighting projects reach ROI in three years. Your savings depend on operating hours, fixture count, utility rates, and rebates.
Yes. You can combine both upgrades in one project. We run one site assessment, assign one project manager, and coordinate rebates for each scope. Shared electrical work, such as panel upgrades, can also cut repeat labor and disruption on site.
